Residential

Home away from home – that’s what
hostel life at Saraswathi Vidyalai is all about! Separate gated residential
facilities for boys and girls are maintained to global standards to ensure
their safety, health, and well-being. The hostels are designed as a place for
students to live and learn to adjust to the educational demands, while
encouraging them to develop a healthy social network with dedicated practices
and activities to ensure kids spend time with each other and form lasting
friendships. Each hostel is under the care of a dedicated male (for boys) and
female (for girls) warden who is the one-point contact for students for any
issues. They are able counsellors, guides, mentors and administrators and they
keep a close watch on the students’ progress, health and well-being – both
academic as well as personal. We encourage parents to visit the kids on any
school holiday.

Special care is taken on food to
ensure the healthy growth of the child both physically and mentally. The food
served is selected sensibly such that it has adequate amount of protein, vitamins
and minerals served throughout the week.

The children are at regular
check-up with our General Physician who is a health practitioner at our charity
hospital few blocks away. There is an in-house GNM nurse looking after the
children 24/7.
