Field Trips

Real-world experiences are not only essential but an integral part of the curriculum at Saraswathi Vidyalai. Often, we see students feeling a great divide between what is learnt in the classroom and how it is applied in the real-world. We take great care in planning our field trips to bridge this gap and add a visual and experiential aspect to classroom teaching with the help of field trips. This helps particularly in adding value to the theoretical knowledge that we impart, as students get a demonstration of the practical application of whatever they learn in the classroom.

This helps the students in multiple ways: it cements their understanding of any topic, improves their social and life skills, and lets them evaluate their own learning. Interacting with teachers and their peers in a non-classroom setting gives them an opportunity to interact freely and boosts their interpersonal skills as well.
